The sandwiches are quite tasty although not big by any stretch of the imagination. Nice cafe.

About Lorelli's Pizza & Pasta Bar

In a departure from the fried chicken cutlets of their other restaurant, Schnitzel Express, the owners of Lorelli's Pizza & Pasta Bar have developed a menu of kosher Italian and East-Coast delights. These range from quick snacks at the yogurt bar to fully catered meals, such as a spread of breakfast bagels with white fish. Despite the restaurant's name, one half of its menu reads like that of a classic deli or coffee shop, featuring challah homemade French toast and egg salad.

The other half, however, dips into Mediterranean territory. Traditional cheese pizzas sport toppings of broccoli, eggplant, and peppers; paninis are stuffed with fresh mozzarella and portobello mushrooms; and pasta bowls mix spaghetti and farafelle with a slew of sauces. Some sandwiches manage to bridge the gap between New York and Italy, though, including the chef special: bread piled with smoked salmon, mozzarella, and hardboiled egg. This creativity, paired with the restaurant's commitment to its kosher cause, has paid off, earning it a mention in Great Kosher Restaurants magazine.
