Beautiful experience at this great farm museum exhibit! We had the apple press guide and learned how to use it to make apple cider! The staff was wonderful, friendly, knowledgeable and had great safety measurements wearing masks and had hand sanitizer available to guests. Great for all ages, our kids really enjoyed learning how to use the apple press machine and lots of facts we didn’t know.
My children thoroughly enjoyed role playing life in the olden days of a one room school house, shopping in the old general store, milking a cow, and more. My one complaint is that the lighting is poor and it made it a dark environment to explore and play in.
Great outing for my kids (ages 2,4,6). Historically accurate general store/post office with TONS of hands on stuff (crates of play food, mail to sort, tiny brooms and aprons, etc.) barn area with cow you can “milk” (squirts water into pail) and chicken coop where kids can collect wooden eggs. Definitely recommend!
