Throughout the holiday season, Lu Mil Vineyard’s more than 50 acres of vines sprout thousands of colorful lights and incandescent decorations, which visitors explore during drive-along holiday-lights tours. The flickering bulbs perform in sync with a holiday playlist, which drivers access on their car stereo’s FM band or scalp-mounted antennae. Up to six riders may stroll along on the 20-minute tour route. After admiring features such as the beaming Nativity scene and children’s area, holiday explorers visit with Santa Claus or enjoy a complimentary wine tasting from the muscadine maestros. A stop in the holiday shop completes visits with a house-made assortment of specialties available for purchase, including jellies, ciders, and candies crafted by the vineyard’s resident elves.

About Lu Mil Vineyard
Spread across Lu Mil Vineyard's 58 acres are an antique museum, a handful of cabins for overnight stays, a tasting room, and of course grapevines. Rows upon rows of sweet muscadine grapes are cultivated at the farm, named for its late owners, Lucille and Miller Taylor. In addition to producing a suite of wines, Lu Mil sells a selection of house-made jellies, jams, and NASA-engineered spittoons.
