Lucas Park Grille
Lucas Park Grille underwent a complete renovation in 2004, and less than a year later, Sauce Magazine named it one its favorite places to see and be seen. That's because, like a snowman wearing its hat backwards, Lucas Park Grille just exudes cool. Its loft-style, 25-foot ceilings put an airy cap on 8,000 square feet of stone, copper, and brick, all lit with the flickering glow from three fireplaces.
The menu matches the decor's ambition with a spread of New American cuisine and upscale twists on classic comfort food. Small plates, such as duck liver mousse pate and oysters on the half shell, balance large plates of grilled swordfish, all-natural ribeye served with cognac-roasted garlic butter, and meatloaf with a jalapeño-ketchup glaze. The wine list is impressive, too: it features more than 300 bottles and receives continuous recognition from Wine Spectator.
