About Luciano Neighborhood Pizzeria Stone Oak
When the Centofanti family emigrated to the United States in 1971, they brought along their most beloved heirloom: the recipes of matriarch Nonna Lina. In a small town just outside Naples, Italy, she and her husband Salvatore ran a trattoria where, in the kitchen, she honed dishes that her sons Luciano and Gennaro still use today at Luciano Neighborhood Pizzeria.
Guests are greeted with complimentary bruschetta as they walk in the door, and then order their meals at the counter without having to wait for a server or hook a chef with a shepherd’s crook. They choose from dishes including the margherita pizza, topped with fresh mozzarella, san marzano plum tomatoes, and fresh basil, which has earned the Vera Pizza Napoletana award—an honor bestowed upon just 300 pizzerias worldwide—for being a shining example of Neapolitan-style cuisine. Other traditional Italian pasta dishes include spicy penne arrabiata and the vegetarian-friendly spinach lasagna.
