At age 19, Jorge Suarez left his home in Michoacan, Mexico and immigrated to the United States. However, he made sure not to leave his home too far behind. At Lupe’s Tex Mex Grill, Jorge combines his love for the flavors of Mexico with the Tex-Mex flair he learned while spending more than 20 years working in restaurants throughout the Houston and Dallas areas. In addition to cooking classic dishes—including chicken enchiladas in mole sauce and sizzling fajitas with chipotle-marinated beef—the chefs bring a Tex-Mex influence to selections such as chimichangas stuffed with brisket, grilled onions, and ranchero sauce. All of these meals are served within a brightly colored, family-friendly dining room, decorated to resemble a vibrant cantina.
