For 15 to 60 minutes, a technician infuses the tattoo with the light of a Cynosure RevLite SI laser. Gradually, the flattop beam breaks up and dissolves ink particles. Results and number of treatments needed vary based upon type of ink, depth of ink, skin color, tattoo color(s), and individual body response.
