Best known as the original lead guitarist for Genesis, Rock and Roll Hall of Famer Steve Hackett helped define progressive rock while pioneering guitar techniques like two-handed tapping and sweep picking, influencing such greats as Eddie Van Halen and Queen's Brian May. In 1975, Hackett released his first solo album, Voyage of the Acolyte, launching a successful solo career that has spanned rock, jazz, blues and world music. He also formed the supergroup GTR with members of Yes and Asia and released collaborations with Chris Squire of Yes. 2015 has seen the release of Hackett's latest album, Wolflight, and a documentary film, Steve Hackett: The Man, The Music. Now this musical legend comes to Lynn Auditorium to play hits spanning his time in Genesis through his latest release.
