Choose Between Two Options
- C$56 for one day of summer art camp (C$105 value)
- C$265 for one five-day week of summer art camp (C$525 value)
Kids start with drawing projects in the morning which later transform into paintings in the afternoon. Often heading outdoors to enjoy a lunch picnic, instructors engage children in games of Pictionary and set up for watercolor painting al-fresco. In the afternoon, enjoy cartooning, clay-sculpting, and painting; each week-long session draws to a close with a gallery show by all the participating artists that week. Kids should bring their own lunches; lunch is not included in the cost of camp.
What began as an art-supply store in 1978 has since grown into a full art centre helmed by husband-and-wife team Lynnie and Richard Rosenthal. The inventive duo harnesses their extensive experiences in the art world to teach students at Lynrich Arts Fine Arts Centre how to create their own masterpieces. Adults delve into watercolour, acrylic-painting, and drawing projects; children try their hands at mixed media and cartooning, sketching out imagined superhero feats or adventures in accounting. In addition to creating business cards, brochures, and banners, the accommodating staff also hosts parties, ringing in birthdays, bridal showers, or other notable occasions with plenty of paintbrushes, canvases, ceramics, and inspirational work lining the walls.
