Boston magazine recommends Kings, naming the bowling alley Best Bowling in 2010. While some Yelpers mention that the wait for lanes can be long at the Back Bay location, most reviewers agree that both locations are great for bowling in parties, and give an average of three stars each. Citysearchers at the Back Bay location give it an average of 4.5 stars and name it to six Best of Citysearch lists:
- Everyone thinks of it just as a bowling alley- Not the case. The food, service and activities they offer make it a cool place to hang out. – KristenMc82, Back Bay location, Citysearch
- The bowlers' settee area is spacious, inviting, and comfortable. There's plenty of lighting where it counts - over the food, drinks, and guests - and there are little tables between and behind the benches where you can put things. They even have little slots under the tables and benches where you can leave your street shoes. – Joe B., Dedham location, Yelp
