Classes are 2 hours and 30 minutes of hands-on preparation and baking, and take place on select Fridays at 4:30 p.m., Saturdays at 4 p.m., and Sundays at 9:30 a.m. or 12:45 p.m.

Each participant will make 25 macarons of their own, as well as enjoy a free macaron tasting and free hot beverages with Mille-feuille’s very own Parisian chefs.

Mille-Feuille Baking School

Ever since confectionary guru Olivier Dessyn honed his dough-centric savvy at Paris’s famed Ritz cooking school, his pastries at Mille-Feuille Bakery Cafe have grown to include accolades from the New York Times for being “first-rate indulgences.” With Chef Dessyn at the helm, the bakery has expanded from staffers replenishing the shop’s display cases with fresh treats to offering classes on how to make its sweet and savory goodies.

The bakery’s chefs lead each class amidst the shop’s warm Parisian ambiance, with sessions for its signature macarons, mille-feuille, eclairs, choux, and golden croissants that “rank among the city’s best,” according to Time Out New York. Each class allows only eight participants, and includes a theory lesson and hand-ons preparation using organic, all-natural ingredients.
