What You'll Get
As technology advances, so does man's ability to explore the outskirts of the universe, probe the depths of the ocean, and understand the VCR's desire to eat cassette tapes. Partake in technological helpings with today's Groupon: for $10, you get one exhibits pass to Macworld | iWorld: The Ultimate iFanEvent at Moscone Center West, valid from Thursday, January 26, to Saturday, January 28 (up to a $45 value).
The Macworld 2012 Expo, Macworld | iWorld, celebrates all things Apple with a three-day event of first looks at upcoming products, app demonstrations, and expert presentations. Attendants can peruse the Exhibit Hall to investigate recent hardware, software, and app releases from hundreds of exhibitors, then proceed to the First Looks area to test upcoming products, such as the iPad Gripstand, and play peekaboo with sentient smart phones. Head to the Midway and take part in the Silent Frisco dance party, spectate the Super Art Fight, or peruse the South Park Gallery. Berklee College of Music performers keep fans swaying in the Music Studio as musicians demonstrate how to use Apple products for sonically minded purposes, including recording, editing, and songwriting. iOS neophytes can bolster their program knowledge during face-to-face demonstrations with app developers at the Mobile App Showcase. Peruse the website for the schedule, full list of attractions, and information on the nutritional value of pixilated apples.

The expo features main events such as a hall buzzing with more than 250 exhibitors, including iOS and OS X developers sharing their latest projects and magical spells. Every attendee can also view their array of tech displays such as an iPad-sketch station and an iPhone-photography gallery. The expo has two live stages housing musical performances, podcasts and demos. Visitors can also create their own games such as bobbing for iPods, or attend special events, which have included a concert by Little Feat and an iPhone film festival.
