She had dates shown as available on Groupon that she didn't have open. So I booked and after I paid I was told that she actually wasn't available for that day. I told her that I needed this done by a certain date for my birthday and so I needed a refund if she wasn't able to stick to a date that I needed. She convinced me to keep the voucher and found a date that worked. The DAY OF the appointment, she said maintenance came up and she wasn't available. From the beginning, I was ABUNDANTLY clear that I needed to get this done for a specific date for my birthday. This was a waste of time that could have been avoided had she just been honest from the beginning. It was the fourth of July, I can understand needing a day to recover, what is entirely unacceptable is suddenly needing "maintenance" in her own studio that she was somehow unaware of until the day of. My plans are ruined and she wasted my time that I could have spent finding another provider to perform the service. She never gave me the address of her studio, even after I repeatedly asked for it over the course of 3 days so to me it seems like she always planned to cancel.
