During the 11th annual Maine Boats, Homes & Harbors Show, running from August 9–11 at the Rockland waterfront, more than 70 customized vessels line the coastal waters, with attendees gazing from afar or climbing aboard to enjoy the roll of the sea. Back on solid ground, approximately 150 exhibitors display wares such as fine art, jewelry, and handcrafted furniture for the boat or home as live music swells in the background and the smell of food wafts through the air. Sunday morning, guests can witness the 11th World Championship Boatyard Dog Trials, which includes a canine obstacle course, dinghy hop, and talent contest in which pups show their skills.<p>
