The Wild Food Garden Workshop teaches students how to identify wild, nutrient-rich plants. In addition to proper care and maintenance, students will also learn how to use these plants for medicine and compost. Then they'll return home with roots to transplant into their own gardens. This workshop runs 9 a.m. to 4 p.m, and students should arrive 30 minutes early. Students can also opt for an overnight Wild Food Garden Workshop that runs from runs from 9 a.m. Saturday to 4 p.m. Sunday.
During the Earth Living Series 1 course, students will stay overnight to learn and practices wilderness skills such as navigation and finding resources that will increase both comfort and chances of survival. This course runs from 9 a.m. Saturday to 4 p.m. Sunday, and students should arrive at least 30 minutes early.
