Three of Hawaii's master musicians bring their smooth, slack-key sounds to Blackwood's Dennis Flyer Theater all the way from Maui for a little taste of the tropics. George Kahumoku Jr. is a true legend -- a quadruple Grammy-winning singer and guitarist famed for his facility with this finger-style brand of folk music, known in the islands as Ki ho'alu. Led Kaapana, who's been called "a flat out genius at just about any stringed instrument that can be finger-picked," is an equally gifted singer, famed for both his extraordinary baritone and leo ki`eki`e (falsetto) vocals. And musician-composer Jeff Peterson has not only won multiple awards for his guitar playing, but he also had five original songs featured in the George Clooney movie The Descendants.
