- Note: Sunflowers are an agricultural crop and therefore subject to weather, growing conditions and ripening variables. Maple Lawn Farms cannot guarantee that the sunflowers will bloom on a particular date, so customers are asked to be flexible by 7–10 days in their visit. Guests can stay tuned and look at Maple Lawn Farms Facebook page for up-to-the-minute plans. The event is an outdoor event and therefore held weather permitting. Should a complete crop failure arise, tickets will be exchanged for Maize Quest Corn Maze and Fun Park tickets, or a Maple Lawn Winery upcoming event, or for Maple Lawn Farms fruit and merchandise certificates.
Sunflower Festival
The annual Sunflower Festival lets attendees explore eight acres of farmland brimming with 28 kinds of its namesake blooms. Guests get to snap pics of blossoms towering as high as six feet tall and stroll through the colorful rows of different themed areas.
- The food: Vendors like Wok Runner and Bricker’s Famous French Fries sell their eats.
- The drinks: Maple Lawn Winery’s pours are available for purchase.
- The entertainment: From rock to folk, different bands take the stage to croon out covers and play originals too.
