What You'll Get
A recently discovered alternative to the indoors, going "outside" offers adventurous explorers exposure to things such as wind, sunshine, and the naturally occurring mazes found in corn fields. Leave the indoors with today's Groupon: for $15, you get an outdoor adventure for two at Maize Quest Fun Park in New Park, Pennsylvania (up to a $31.50 value). The park's hours are available here. The outdoor adventure package includes:
- Two general-admission tickets (up to a $19.50 value)
- Two unlimited Cow Train ride passes (a $10 value)
- Donuts and apple cider for two (a $2 value)
A functioning fruit farm serves as a picturesque backdrop for Maize Quest Fun Park, which promotes hands-on learning and agricultural awareness with a wide variety of stimulating activities, including an intricate cornfield maze with a fresh design each year. Visitors map twisting pathways and decode secret words along the winding corridors of this year’s Robin Hood–themed corn-maze adventure, designed by noted labyrinth creator Dave Phillips. Ticket holders can run wild or solve challenging riddles at 20 park attractions, from the confounding Miner Max Maze to the 80-foot long Maze Mountain Tube Slide, which sends jovial youngsters hurtling down a slope like Jack and Jill's bobsledding team.
The new Cow Train lets kids climb aboard a tractor-pulled buggy named after a different bovine every time they ride. After a morning of climbing, exploring, and unsuccessfully looking for cheese in the park’s many mazes, visitors can head to the snack area for a sampling of cider and donuts, or ride the orange Pumpkin Express wagon to the pumpkin patch.
Some park activities, such as gemstone mining and geocaching, have an additional charge that is not included in the cost of this Groupon.
