$139 for a Winemaking Class with Take-Home Wine ($300 Value)
Over the course of nine months, students create their own wines using fresh grapes harvested from Chilean vineyards. Students can choose to make one of the following wines: malbec, cabernet sauvignon, carménère-cabernet sauvignon, and bordeaux style. The four-class series begins in early May, when participants gather to begin the four-step process using the winery’s equipment. At the end of the nine months, students reap the fruits of their labor, hauling home a case of 12 bottles of handmade wine to pair with dinners or the neighbor’s new white carpet. Couples are welcome to attend classes jointly, though only one person can directly participate in each winemaking event.
Though this merchant sometimes offers a discounted price online, this Groupon is still the best deal available.
