Malabar owner John Cook has teamed up with Executive Chef Stephen Sims to add a contemporary flair to time-honored American staples. The menu, which borrows from Asian, Latin American, and Italian traditions, and spares no expense in terms of ingredients. In order to make his culinary fusions work, Chef Sims proudly uses Certified Angus Beef, hand-cut veggies, made-from-scratch marinades and sauces. Malabar grills all steaks and fresh fish on a 700 degree Almond Wood Grill.
Large plate-glass windows and modern hanging lights make for an intimate and elegant dining experience. Malabar offers separate gluten-free, vegan and vegetarian menus. Malabar's specialty drink menus use fresh fruit and purees for crisp and original seasonal cocktails, a diverse wine list and a large selection of draught and bottled beers.
