$75 for Admission for Two to Feast-er Spring Festival (Up to $150 Value)
Feast-er runs from noon to 3 p.m. on Saturday, April 7. The organic, gourmet fare in the lunch buffet—whose menu will be finalized a few days before the event—includes ingredients grown on the sustainable farm itself, as well as blue velvet cupcakes and whole-wheat berry crumbles for dessert. Patrons can wash down their meals with signature Malibu Mary bloody marys and wine from a local vineyard. A petting zoo and egg hunt (hunters should bring their own baskets) entertain younger guests.
Goats bleat, pigs oink, and 28 peacocks fan their feathers on the Malibu Farm, whose grounds also encompass a beach, a vineyard, a vegetable garden, and 300 raspberry bushes. Executive chef Helene leads cooking classes using ingredients plucked from the sustainably farmed grounds and also whips up multicourse farm dinners featuring dishes such as sriracha cod and saffron ice cream. The farm even lends its own 'Bu Jazz Band out to toes in need of tapping.
