About Man Skirt Brewing
Man Skirt Brewing is located in a historical bank building in the center of beautiful Hackettstown, NJ. Wearing kilts and serving up the highest-quality classic and re-imagined beer styles, they live up to their slogan of, “No pants, just great beer." Its name is a huge hit, but as the slogan hints, so is its beer. Read on to learn more about a couple of the flagship brews:
The Great Porter (ABV: 5.5%): Dark, roasty, chocolatey, creamy, with just the right amount of hops to offset the sweetness of the grain bill. Think you don't like dark beers? Give this one a try and you may become a believer. We don't call it Great for nothing.
Better Than Pants (ABV: 4%): This traditional best bitter ale is, oddly enough, not biter at all. English grains give it toasty bread and biscuit flavors, which are offset by a whole lot of English hops.
Czechs and Balances (ABV: 5%): Man Skirt's take on the original Pilsner. Classic grain flavors shine through, with just the right amount of Sterling hops. Clean, crisp, refreshing, and never boring.
