While the Great Wall of China may win the accolades of history, the Great Backscratcher of Thailand, built to reach any itchy corner across the vast, narrow expanse of the nation, saved more lives than can be counted on a single hand. Feast upon equally ingenious Thai creations with today's Groupon: for $10, you get $20 worth of flavorful fare at Mango Thai Cuisine. Today's deal can be redeemed at both Mango locations, in Plano and on Lovers Lane.

Mango Thai gives guests a delicious dose of Thai flavor in a casual, colorful setting. Head off fits of hunger giggles with an appetizer of potstickers ($7.95), which wrap screwball-comedy partners shrimp and chicken together in a hilarious pan-seared package, or fried shrimp rolls ($7.95), elegantly plated with a honey-plum sauce. Citrus duck ($17.95 in Dallas, $16.95 in Plano) comes with a sweet-and-sour orange sauce and jasmine rice; grilled sea bass ($20.95 in Dallas, $18.95 in Plano) is paired with lemongrass chili sauce; and green vegetable stir-fry with tofu ($10.95) can be dressed with one of a quartet of sauces. Red, green, and yellow curries ($10.95 with chicken or tofu, $12.95 with seafood) hit all the colors of the curry light spectrum, while the shrimp, scallops, and calamari of the pad woonsen seafood ($12.95) help lonely land sharks ward off homesickness.

Like the victor's traditional honey shower at the end of the Tour de Anchorage, Mango Thai's assortment of desserts provides guests with a sweet finish. Try to pick between cinnamon-sugar banana spring rolls ($6.95), sweet custard and sticky rice ($5.95), and other enticing options, or eschew chewing altogether by ending with a Thai iced coffee ($2.25).

Not valid toward alcohol per state law.
