The marbled walls of St. James Cathedral Basilica will resound with carols ancient and new when Manhattan Chorale and Chamber Orchestra perform their fourth annual Christmas concert (and first ever Brooklyn appearance) O Magnum Mysterium at the century-old church. A professional choir based in New York City, Manhattan Chorale is widely acclaimed for its vast repertoire of masterworks both large and small, traditional and contemporary. Their famous versatility will be on glorious display during O Magnum Mysterium, when maestro Craig Arnold will lead the ensemble through medieval plainsong, Baroque pieces and compositions by Ralph Vaughan Williams and Charles Ives. Accompanied by the Chamber Orchestra -- and amplified and enriched by the Cathedral's acclaimed acoustics -- Manhattan Chorale comes to Brooklyn in high style: Be there for this special holiday concert.
