Q:

I had CK surgery on my non-dominant eye for better reading ability 3 years ago. My vision is getting somewhat blurry again. Would I be a candidate for lasik surgery to improve my vision?

A:

The answer is YES!! You will most likely be a candidate for LASIK. We can do a LASIK enhancement to sharpen up your near vision in the non-dominant eye and give you distance vision in the dominant eye. However, we will need to see you for an exam to do the testing to determine whether or not you would be a perfect candidate for LASIK. If not LASIK, then we have other options to enhance the vision. Hope to see you soon.

Q:

Hi! I had PRK 17 years ago and in the last year I've regressed and need the surgery again. Would I be a candidate for lasik after having PRK? Thanks very much

A:

Great question, Harriet! With today’s technology, you will most likely be approved for LASIK. However, we will have to determine corneal thickness at your consultation to ensure LASIK is a safe option for you. We always put your safety and medical well-being first at Mann Eye. (If you are not a candidate for LASIK, Groupon will refund your money. See more details at our FAQ page: http://www.manneye.com/groupon_faq.html) Thank you for asking.
