Thanks to the blended minds of head chefs Arturo Vargas and Jose Orozco, Mar Cafe has been able to craft a menu of both Mexican and American cuisines. Vargas grew up in a small town in Mexico, where his parents owned a bakery and filled his childhood with delicious food. He relocated to the United States, where he worked his way up from dish washer to management and met Orozco, who had over 30 years of experience in the culinary industry under his belt. Together, they open Mar Cafe. On the breakfast menu, patrons can find omelets, breakfast burritos, and pancakes. For lunch, the restaurant serves up tacos platter, sandwiches, salads, and more.
