The staff is wonderful, mostly retired veterans who speak aviation! There are so many planes, they have a 30 acre space next to an active air strip, so you could end up seeing a bunch of different planes in action while you cruise their wide collection. Inside, they have period piece posters, uniforms from 5 different millitary times (WW1, WW2, Korea, etc.). They have helmets, and ammo of all types, it just went on and on, their inventory is vast!! Also really appreciated all of the little "experience" vignettes, where we got to read all about bits of history that are engaging to read. I had no idea about the fire-vortex in the bombing of Hamburg that was more deadly than the bombing. Such a cool place, will definitely be back. My son loves planes, and we spent 6 hours wandering all March has to offer, if your kid loves avaition, this is a treat!!
