Experience a restaurant that’s as aesthetically pleasing as it is appetizing with today’s Groupon. For $25, you’ll enjoy $50 worth of French cuisine at Marché, the French brasserie that CITY magazine hails as one of its 101 Favorite Restaurants.
Marché, located in the meatpacking district at 833 W. Randolph St., offers the over-the-top visual excellence you’d expect from owner-designer Jerry Kleiner. The restaurant’s theatrical environment evokes a sexy, exuberant circus with rich, imported fabrics and colorful umbrellas dangling from the ceiling. The elevated dining room floor, prime for people-watching, creates a fun stage-like illusion.
Marché‘s menu, offering specialties such as coq au vin and Atlantic salmon “au poive,” is on par with the exotic interior eye candy. For a truly indulgent experience, don’t miss the six-course tasting menu for $80 or $115 with wine pairing. Don’t worry—you can work off the calories by hitting one of the many clubs or bars in the area after dinner. Marché’s lively ambiance and decadent environment will undoubtedly put you in the mood for dancing.
Plenty of customers are raving about multi-sensory experience at Marché. Yelpers give the restaurant four stars; Insider Pages reviewers give it 3.5: > * The decor and atmosphere in this restaurant is hard to beat! The waiters were very attentive and did an excelllent job of explaining what paired with what on the menu. The french cuisine is fresh and very different than any other! Definitely recommended! – Julie W., Insider Pages > * Right off the bat I have to say the Creme Brule at The Marche is the best ever. The atmosphere and food were outstanding and the service was excellent. – Jennifer W, Insider Pages > * The food is good, but the atmosphere is a must see. They have a party room upstairs for private parties. Great date place because there is a lot to talk about…the atmosphere is colorful!. – Lorna S., Yelp
