Omg it was so awesome. I would love to go every time I’m in town. We did the warehouse tour but it was self guided with a little info but to have a guided tour with Carl who was so full of knowledge of everything about the history of maradi gras was way cooler. My boyfriend wasn’t even up for going he thought it was a waste but had more fun than I did especially with trying on sum of the costumes.

By far the best tour I did during my trip! Carl was funny, entertaining, interesting and knowledgeable i learned so much about Mardi Gras. You get the history of it while being up close and personal to some of these beautiful costumes. Come here first so you will understand a little more about the Mardi Gras culture. Absolutely fantastic! He needs an online store to purchase from the gift store!

Awesome history information! Carl took time to explain and answer all questions and his enthusiasm was contagious. More than that, the museum was actually closed the day we visited, but it was our last day in NOLA, and Carl came down to the museum and gave us a private tour. That is above and beyond!

The owner Carl was our tour guide at the museum. He shared a wealth of knowledge about the city and the back ground of Mardi Gras. We had so much fun. I highly recommend this museum.
