It was great to see what goes on behind the scenes of Mardi Gras and the floats. We got to try a piece of King cake too. The intro movie was very informative and our tour guide was great and funny. The picture on the Groupon is deceiving though because you can not touch or enter a float. It was definitely worth it though.

It was fun to see the process of making floats and to learn more about Mardi Gras. There wasn't much happening or many floats in the building but we went to the 4:30 tour- maybe earlier would be better.

It's a couple weeks before Mardi Gras--don't know if that makes a difference or not. It was kind of interesting but expected more for the full price. It was OK for the groupon price. Everyone was given a slice of king cake which was nice. But really thought we would be able to see Mardi Gras floats instead of pieces. Hubby and I had been to an event at event at Mardi Gras World many, many years ago and remember it very differently from what we saw this time. The tour needs a little something to make it worth the price. lagniappe.
