What You'll Get
A picture is worth a thousand words, making photographs and stick-figure sketches the easiest solutions to looming dissertation deadlines. Take advantage of efficient visual-communication strategies with today’s Groupon: for $75, you get an on-location photo session (up to a $250 value) and one 8"x10" print (a $75 value) from Maria Mitchell Photography (up to a $325 total value). This Groupon is valid for locations within 50 miles of Thousand Oaks.
Photographer Maria Mitchell draws on her creative energy and artistic eye to capture subjects in honest, intimate portraits. Customers can choose a regular sitting, which typically lasts one to two hours and documents up to two kids and three adults from a single family, or a two- to four-hour newborn session, leaving infant models plenty of time to gurgle, cuddle, and issue directives to their personal assistants. Maria prefers to photograph her subjects—typically children and high school seniors—outside at a location of their choice. The natural habitat helps set a pastoral backdrop and imbues the frame with natural light, which also makes lurking paparazzi easier to spot.
Photographing both digitally and with traditional film, Maria compiles the results to present approximately two to three weeks after the session in a slide show at the subject’s home. She'll also upload the proofs to an online gallery, where they'll stay for two weeks as customers decide which image to memorialize in an 8"x10" print (a $75 value). To help preserve even more memories without resorting to getting a tattoo of your second-favorite shot, Groupon holders can take advantage of a 20% discount on all additional prints from this session.
