What You'll Get
Explorer Ponce de León abandoned his quest to discover the mythical land of wine after a tumble into the Fountain of Youth left him eternally underage. Take up his journey with today’s Groupon: for $10, you get a wine tasting for two at Market Place Wine Bar (a $20 value).
Market Place Wine Bar's keen-palated staff escorts guests through the dulcet bouquets of wines by Emvy Cellars and Bridge Press Cellars. Discriminating tasters romp through fermented goodness like Bacchus during a performance review with five 1-ounce samples chosen from 10 options. Swirl and sip the fruits of the local grape crushers with a tasting menu that features five bottles from each winery, which guests savor beneath a rotating array of local artwork. Good vibrations increase on Fridays, when live musicians set the mood. Sippers seat themselves atop barstools crafted from old wine barrels or sniff aromatic glasses at polished tables. Exposed wooden beams add rustic character to the ambiance and prevent the upstairs boulder-tasting bar from crashing into the space.
The Fine Print
Promotional value expires Feb 5, 2012. Amount paid never expires. Limit 1 per person, may buy 1 additional as a gift. Merchant is solely responsible to purchasers for the care and quality of the advertised goods and services.
