A Chat with Martial Arts World & Fitness Center
What services does your business offer and what makes your business stand out from the competition?
Our philosophy is that martial arts is not a sport. We are not a competition school. Our area of expertise is raw survival training and those who come to train with us should expect a curriculum centered around reality-based street combat scenarios.
What’s one tip for first-time students that will make them feel like veterans?
First-time students must understand that they have set foot upon a never-ending journey and treat it as such. Never stop learning and growing. Not even veterans and professionals are exempt from this rule.
What was the inspiration to start or run this business?
Self-defense is a human right and a necessity in the world we live in. This business was started and is run by long-time martial arts devotees with several decades in the game. We want to take all that we have accumulated over the years in terms of experience and make it available to others.
What do you love most about your job?
We live to see the gradual progression of our students. To see a person stay the course, challenge and overcome obstacles and to witness the physical, mental, spiritual and character growth and development that they undergo over time is a great reward.
