Q:

Regarding schedules at the 18th & Chestnut location, I was unable to gain access to that info - the Valentines special kept popping up with no other info. I am interested in taking pole dancing on Mondays - do you have any classes available at either studio on Mondays? Also, I've been dancing for many years - but right now my arms are kinda weak because I'm recovering from an injury from waay too many downward dogs at power yoga. Would that make taking these classes at this point impractical? Should I wait until my arms are more or less completely healed to be able to take full advantage?

A:

Hello, www.poledancelesson.com is the site for pole classes. We have several classes on mondays. If your arm is really sore and you think its damage and not just fatigue we would suggest waiting before taking any pole classes. Arm and shoulder conditioning is of high priority in this sport.

Q:

Hello, I want the pole classes with my friends but I want to know if we can all schedule the classes together and if we can do it whenever we want up until April 11th right? Just to confirm before buying it because we can't go in January or mid February. Thank you.

A:

Hello, We have and online schedule feature. We require all customers to use it when scheduling your classes. It will show available spaces in each class. keep in mind if you represent a group of 5 or more you may encounter difficulty scheduling your entire group into the evening classes monday thru Friday.. You have until April 11th to start your classes. After that date your voucher is no good.. If you have not taken a class or presented your voucher

Q:

What would we typically wear for something like this because it sounds like so much fun but im 29 and unless I bring a friend I will not know anyone so it is hard for me to as anyone else what to wear and if it will be comfortable doing this on my own? Thank you! I am so excited!

Casey F.  asked on  Jan 4, 2012

A:

Hello Casey, No partner is needed. You will meet many people in class who dont have a dance partner. Actually most dont. We always rotate partners many times per class. So you will dance with every available partner. Wear comfortable clothes and shoes. sneakers and flip flops are NOT suggested. See you in class..

Q:

Is 63 year old too old for this? Would there be any other women that age?

Susan C.  asked on  Jan 4, 2012

A:

Hello, Most Members are between 20 and 50yrs. But salsa is such a fun activity that age has no meaning as long as your healthy and ready to do the work in class. Salsa is a high intensity dance. You should be in good physical shape with strong legs and good knees along with arm and shoulder strength.

Q:

I want to purchase this for myself and a friend. How would I be able to do that? Do I just purchase two for myself?

Britney L.  asked on  Jan 4, 2012

A:

Hello, You may purchase as many as you like. Since they will be purchased in your name the person redeeming must know the voucher number and your name if they are reedeming separate from you.

Q:

I'm a guy who would like to learn salsa, I obviously have no interest in the pole dancing classes ... Is there an option for guys to just have salsa lessons? If not can groupon make that happen in the future? I know a lot of guys that would like to learn to dance better and if there was a groupon I'm sure there would be plenty of buyers ...

Don r.  asked on  Jan 4, 2012

A:

Hello, You may make a 5 or 10 class purchase. Call us when you have the voucher confirmation and we'll set you up with only Salsa.
