Each workout is tailored specific to your goals and needs. 

My main priority is to develop strong movement patterns that will ultimately lead to longevity. 

Safety is the first concern, and by performing the movements safely, you will in turn gain strength. 

Although most of my clients are experienced lifters or an elite athlete, training is perfect for someone looking to get into fitness for the first time to ensure that you are starting off correctly so you can have the foundation to build on top of. By developing strong movement patterns we will be able to develop a foundation that will last you for life.

Rather than working out to burn calories, we practice skills. By practicing the skills you will learn and develop you will receive a challenging workout and slowly move forward forever.

About Mathew McHugh Training

I have been a personal trainer for over 7 years now. I originally got into the field as a physical therapist aide, so my goal will always be injury prevention first. By looking to prevent injury, typically this is how we get to our goals. Strength helps to prevent injury and will allow you to live a long, healthy and active life. I received my degree in Kinesiology from Cal State Fullerton, as well as being certified in StrongFirst Kettlebells as well as being Precision Nutrition certified. My main goal is to teach and explain everything that we are doing so you understand what it is we are trying to achieve. I am not a bootcamp trainer who will beat you into the ground with a workout. I believe in slowly developing and practicing movements and skills that will ultimately give you a challenging workout as you get stronger and can handle more and more load.
