MATT by Night is a new summer-time third Thursday after-hours program for young professionals featuring a variety of live music/DJ, food, an open bar happy hour followed by a cash bar with signature drinks, hands-on art-making, contests, and more. General admission includes access to the Museum’s changing exhibitions, permanent collection, history exhibits, and Waterbury Button Museum featuring over 10,000 buttons. Tuesday–Saturday 10:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m. and Sunday Noon–5:00 p.m.

What a gem in the heart of Connecticut. We enjoyed our time at the museum. They are opened on Sunday and there were only a few people around the exhibits. Lots of great images of the local area, about local history and businesses. Nice afternoon spent remembering the past and how the community contributed.
