Max and Bella's
Max and Bella's sits amid the hills of Ann Arbor Country Club—a leisure destination whose history traces back more than seven decades. But there's nothing historic about the restaurant's menu, which got a complete redesign in 2013.
Executive chef Shane Convery designs the eatery's menus, often featuring locally sourced ingredients and seasonal garnishes such as an autumn leaf or a ray of sunshine in a jar. Great Lakes fish, tender steaks, and gourmet salads share table space with more casual pub classics, including prime-beef burgers and hand-tossed pizzas. Guests sip locally-brewed beer, Michigan wines, and cocktails during meals or at the long bar lined with wood and stone.
