Certified trainer Chris Miller's background makes him an ideal fitness mentor. He wasn't always in shape, and like many people, he disliked the way he looked as a teenager. So, he started lifting weights and working out, transforming his body and his entire outlook on life. He found that he had more energy, enthusiasm, and optimism—things he wanted to share with others. Chris became a personal trainer, earned a slew of certifications, and eventually opened Maximum Fitness in 1995.
Along with his team, Chris works with everyone from MMA fighters to sports teams to exercisers young and old. Each person's path to fitness starts with an initial consultation, during which trainers and clients decide on a custom fitness program that matches their goals. These might include exercise plans for specific sports, post-rehab training, or general workouts that blend strength conditioning and fat-burning cardio.
Maximum Fitness's 3,030-square-foot facility hosts these customized training sessions. To accommodate all workouts, the space boasts cardio machines, kettlebells, free weights, and enough consistent gravity to go around. It's also the location for group fitness classes such as boot camp and MMA conditioning.
