Grammy Award-winning folk singer Patty Griffin joins forces with Sara Watkins and Anais Mitchell in a celebration of American songwriting that's gracing the stage at Morristown's Mayo Performing Arts Center. This special "singers-in-the-round" style show features all three artists on stage together, sharing songs for the entire evening. NPR once praised Griffin for her gift for "locating a song's nerve endings." Her beautifully stripped-down songs have been covered by Emmylou Harris, The Dixie Chicks, Joan Baez and Bette Midler -- and in 2007, she received the Americana Music Association's Artist of the Year honor, also winning Best Album for Children Running Through. Watkins gained fame as a founding member of Grammy-winning bluegrass trio Nickel Creek. She's gone on to tour with artists like The Decemberists, Fiona Apple and Jackson Browne. Rounding out this acclaimed trio is singer-songwriter Mitchell, who's been referred to as "the Queen of Modern Folk Music."
