Experience a pair of "greatest hits" by The Moscow Festival Ballet, one of the world's premiere dance companies. Led by artistic director Sergei Radchenko and featuring veterans of the Bolshoi and Kirov Ballets, the troupe's technically skilled, emotionally moving portrayals of classical favorites always manages to impress. Now they'll bring two of those famed pieces to the Mayo Performing Arts Center. Shchedrin's Carmen Suite is a one-act ballet based on the Bizet opera, originally choreographed by Cuban Alberto Alonso in 1967. Also on tap is the company's stunning take on Tchaikovsky's Romeo and Juliet.
