"Wonderful day out!"
We bought tickets for one of my mother's favorite artists and had dinner at a nice restaurant in town before the performance. It was a great, leisurely, and celebratory day! Thanks for making my mother's birthday so seamless and memorable, McCarter!

What You'll Get

Legendary entertainers Kenan and Kel made theatrical history when they broke down the fourth wall, and then, to the consternation of the set designer, broke down the second and third walls as well. Experience the magic of the stage with today's Groupon. For $25, you get a ticket to A Christmas Carol at the McCarter Theatre in Princeton (up to a $55 value). Choose from two performances:

  • Tuesday, December 21 at 7:30 p.m.
  • Wednesday, December 22 at 7:30 p.m.

The Tony Award-winning McCarter Theatre produces a bevy of captivating plays each year, often staging incendiary interpretations of traditional works and contemporary classics. This year's production of A Christmas Carol marks the McCarter's 30th incarnation of Dickinson's tale since its introduction to the theatre's season in 1980. The production will be performed in the 75-year-old, recently restored Matthews Theatre auditorium. Director Michael Unger gifts audiences with a heartfelt tale of Ebenezer's redemption guaranteed to cure mild to moderate cases of Scroogedom and Santaclaustrophobia.

While there aren’t any online previews for the McCarter Theater Center’s “A Christmas Carol,” the theater has more than 2,600 Facebook fans.
