Q:

I would love to take advantage of this. I have been looking for classes but not sure if I can physically do this craft. Asking your opinion as you are the pros . Have you had any students with Carpal Tunnel damage? I have nerve damage from the syndrome and surgery. ..so hands tire fast and painful if repetitive motion (especially circular motions) is required. What are your thoughts? I would be coming n from Stuart so want to be sure beforehand. TY

A:

Long term stained glass can cause stress on wrists and hands, however there are other art glass techniques that might interest you and would be easier on your wrist and hands. Fusing still involves cutting and breaking glass but is not as labor intensive. Many stained glass artists switch to fusing to give their hands a rest but still keep their creative juices flowing. More information about our fusing classes can be found on our website at www.mcmow.com/classes We hope you will join us!
