What You'll Get
Spooky is the most neglected of the five basic human emotions: spooky, joy, sorrow, grouchy, and wet. Get horror glands pumping with today’s Groupon: for $11, you get combo admission for two people to McCurdy’s Revenge Haunted Houses in Corunna (a $24 value).
Entering its 10th season, McCurdy’s Revenge Haunted Houses serves up a smorgasbord of scares as it transforms the commercial building at McCurdy Park with a different scream-filled theme every two years. Scare-seeking duos can use their combo tickets to brave the allegedly abandoned McCurdyville Campground and Adventure Park on any night of operation. Though the campground was an amenity-packed facility when it opened in 1986, today campers may face the twin inconveniences of chainsaw-wielding murderers and a disturbing lack of s’mores ingredients. The adventure park has fallen into similar disrepair, with ghouls, goblins, and ghosties infesting every nook and cranny of the park’s maze, fun house, and mini-golf course. Worse still, ominous warnings have been appearing suggesting McCurdyville’s favored son and serial killer, Earl Swanson, may be planning to crash the paranormal party, leading many to question the wisdom of giving him a key to the city.
Although McCurdy's Revenge Haunted Houses may feature a discounted price online, this Groupon still offers the best deal available.
