Professional Photographers of America certified and award-winning photographers David and Ally McKay deftly capture candid moments of families, children, and individuals in stunning brown-toned portraits. During each one-hour portrait session at the studio, freshly minted moms and dads follow cues from the accomplished shutters-smiths as dozens of stunning photographs are taken while eliciting faces expressing love, admiration, and the fear of flying.
After the session, clients return to the studio to view their portraits while being shown how cropping and changing the color to brown-toned can improve their images without digitally adding handlebar mustaches. Retouching options are discussed after the desired image is selected, allowing techs to hit the lab and perfect your portrait using high-quality paper and chemicals to ensure they outlast each family’s collection of life-sized busts whittled out of cheddar blocks.

About McKay Photography Academy
Bearing the titles of Master of Photography and Photographic Craftsman from Professional Photographers of America, David and Ally McKay embody the keen vision and aesthetic prowess that separated good photographers from great ones. They share these skills during classes at McKay Photography Academy, where they train eyes, fingers, and imaginations to work in tandem as a snapshooting dream machine. Their classes help aspiring photographers progress from neophytes to seasoned pros. When not busy instructing the next generation of shutterbugs, David and Ally also devise photo safaris, which send small teams of photographers to capture shots of famed landmarks including San Francisco's Golden Gate Bridge; the Lincoln Memorial of Washington, DC; or Yosemite's 60-foot statue of Yogi Bear.
