What You'll Get
Scientists agree that children are our future, which is why most children are sealed in time capsules with a flashlight and a stack of magazines. Give a child something he or she will really dig with today's Groupon: for $15, you get admission for up to four people to McKenna Children's Museum in New Braunfels (up to a $30 value). This Groupon will expire in three months.
The diverse selection of kid-themed exhibits at McKenna Children's Museum creates an ideal learning environment that banishes boredom from young minds. A troupe of four eager explorers can visit outer space in the Destination Space! exhibit, a room that features special space clothes to wear, celestial bodies hanging from the ceiling, and a mission-control center, all housed within a perfect vacuum. At the Grocery Store, kids get a taste of what their first job will be like as they stock shelves and scan items at checkout, while the Innovation Center lets guests use their shadows to interact with projected images of butterflies or sandy cascades.
Access to the museum's daily programs is also included with admission, and free parking is available. Children must be accompanied by an adult with a valid ticket (and vice versa), so make sure your adventurous foursome is composed of both kids and nonkids so the bouncer lets you in the door.

About McKenna Children's Museum
Within the McKenna Children's Museum, the laughter of parents and children bounces through the corridors of hands-on educational exhibits. The ever-changing features and activities foster creativity in youngsters while stimulating their interest in science, health, and nature. In a realistic grocery store, shelves full of goods let kids practice nutritional shopping and arguing over the expiration dates of coupons. Further along, the Destination Space exhibit hosts a simulated space shuttle where children can take the helm of important-looking controls. Outside the museum, a colorful maze snakes up a 30-foot climbing structure, and cushy blue building pieces are scattered across the outdoor playground.
A large gift shop packs shelves with interactive toys. A fresh salad bar stretches across the dining room of the onsite bistro, complementing a menu of healthy snacks that fuel wee ones for their day of play.
