Though it is illegal for pranksters to shout about non-existent fires in a theater, shrieking after an encounter with an underseat gum wad is permissible. Shout about what's on stage instead with today's Groupon: For $10, you get a ticket for a side-balcony seat to Sister's Christmas Catechism (a $21.50 value) at the McKinney Performing Arts Center. Choose from three showtimes:

Sister's Christmas Catechism is a rollicking retelling of the nativity story backed by musical mayhem produced by a local choir. Co-written by Maripat Donovan, one of the co-authors of the acclaimed off-Broadway production Late Night Catechism, Sister's Christmas Catechism follows Sister as she attempts to unearth what happened to the Magi's gold—a mystery nearly as confounding as what happens to sunshine at night. Audience members become part of the fun, taking to the stage to assist in Sister's hilarious whodunit. The show is good for all ages, allowing grandparents and okaychildren alike to bond over holiday ha-has and year-end yuks.
