RAC -- aka, Remix Artist Collective, the indie-electronic project of André Allen Anjos -- first gained attention for smart remixes of songs by the Yeah Yeah Yeahs ("Zero") and the Shins ("Sleeping Lessons"). He's also famously retooled tracks by artists like Phoenix, Bloc Party, Lana Del Rey and Washed Out. But Anjos quickly proved himself as a songwriter in his own right with infectious, energetic hit singles like "Hollywood" and "Let Go," which have become the soundtrack for many a hip hang-out session (not to mention TV ads). Bounce to his signature buoyant beats -- from "Cheap Sunglasses" to "We Belong" -- when RAC bring his fall tour to Portland's Crystal Ballroom. Also on the bill is Brooklyn-based electronic act Big Data, whose slinky, bass-heavy hit single "Dangerous" topped Billboard's Alternative chart in 2014. They'll be joined by former RAC member, Portland's own Karl Kling, as well as rising Austrian producer filous.
