About MD Resort Bed & Breakfast
Built as an outgrowth of the Mueller and Davis’s boisterous family reunions, the MD Resort has grown into a bustling guest ranch that serves as a bed and breakfast, wedding destination, and family-reunion center. Horses and miniature donkeys graze in the green pastures of the 37-acre working ranch, alongside an American buffalo nicknamed Biscuit due to his habit of noshing on breakfast leftovers. Beyond the stables and pens, a hammock and old-fashioned tree swings sway in the open fields, and inside chefs cook up a steaming homemade breakfast each morning and serve it in a wood-furnished dining room. Guests can relax in a pet-friendly German room accented with European touches, or retire to a queen-size four-poster bed in the Victorian Lace room. Guests can sample the muscle-soothing skills of the in-house massage therapist or plant themselves outside for an afternoon picnic, being careful to heed Biscuit’s wine and cheese recommendations made through the Morse code–stomping of his hooves.
