After an initial consultation, the aesthetician will choose a cleanser, toner, and chemical peel to match the client’s needs. Face and hands are cleansed before a chemical peel treatment, which can improve the appearance and texture of the complexion by shedding the outer layer of cells to reveal younger, smoother skin. LED Light Therapy is then used to help reduce potential swelling and redness which clients may experience after the treatment. During the microdermabrasion treatment which follows, the licensed professional deeply exfoliates the skin to improve its tone, texture, and clarity. A vacuum draws away the exfoliated cells, giving the complexion a fresher appearance and diminishing the appearance of wrinkles and fine lines.
