What You'll Get

The best way to capture a wild, rampaging meal is to rope it with a gigantic pasta lasso. Test your pasta-throwin' arm with today's Groupon: for $10, you get $20 worth of hearty Italian fare and drinks at Meatballz Italian Deli. This Groupon is valid for dine-in at Meatballz’s Chandler Fashion location only.

A warm, family-friendly atmosphere flooded with sweet aromas from the kitchen inspires patrons to fork-dive into Meatballz’s menu of generously portioned Italian tastes. Meatballz sliders are stuffed with the deli's namesake spheres, and then smothered in gooey mozzarella and served with marinara sauce ($4.95) for dipping and sipping. For a slightly less ornate launch to your feast, opt for an order of buttery garlic knots ($4.50 for 12). Entree specialties include savory manicotti ($6.95), cheese tortellini alfredo ($8.95), and the low-carb meatballz plate, which preps patrons with a side salad before setting them loose to control the orbit of beef and pork planets, and subsequently the tides of sauce and cheese ($7.95). A variety of fresh salads ($5.95 for half, $7.95 for full) appease lighter appetites, and hearty pizzas (starting at $6.95), calzones ($7.50), and delicious desserts ($1.50–$3.50) tame even the most ferociously growling bellywampas.

Meatballz has expanded to six Phoenix-area locations since its inception in 2004. The success and growth of the deli is fueled by the culinary passion of founders Peter Trunzo and Robert Vallillo, who share the belief that quality dining doesn’t have to entail long waits, overpriced menus, and mustachioed sommeliers hawking wines at the cost of a timeshare in Mallorca.

Meatballz was reviewed by the Arizona Republic and Examiner.com:

  • You want a place almost everyone will like, from the kids to Grandma. You want it to be bright and clean, without the smell of a deep-fat fryer. Friendly service is a must. A bill that won't eat into the college fund is always a bonus. And the food has to be of a quality that will bring you back time after time. We've found it: Meatballz – Barbara Yost, Arizona Republic
  • As any one who's moved to Phoenix from the east coast can tell you, finding an Italian deli with good calzones is a challenge. Meatballz, the Italian Gourmet Deli with four locations in the greater Phoenix area comes pretty close to perfect. – Karen Sweeny-Justice, Examiner.com
